Safe. Convenient. Affordable.

About Us.

Take a moment to read about how we came to be.

Northridge Retirement Center, Inc. is a 50-Unit Apartment building for lower income elderly and/or disabled individuals.  Located on the north side of Lamesa, it provides a convenient and safe environment for those who are on a fixed income.  Northridge was started in 1983 when Carl White, a former pastor of Northridge Methodist church, discovered that Lamesa had very little housing available to the older, retired citizens of Lamesa.  In December of 1984, Northridge was opened, providing safe, clean and affordable apartments that Carl White envisioned.

After more than 25 years in operation, Northridge is still providing affordable housing to the lower income elderly and disabled citizens of Lamesa and surrounding communities.

The rent at Northridge is determined by a person's income versus their medical expenses.  HUD provides a subsidized amount to pay the remainder of rent owed.  HUD also provides each tenant with a utility allowance to help pay their electric bill.  To see if you qualify, click on the "Contact Us" link for more information.
